The architect
trio Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune have made a strong
impact in Sweden since they founded their office in 1993. In Stockholm,
their work include a Gucci store, the Japanese noodle restaurant One
Happy Cloud, a shop for art museum Liljewalchs and a McDonalds restaurant,
all with the Claesson Koivisto Rune sleek, uncluttered handwriting
clearly present. In Berlin, they have furnished the residence of the
Swedish Ambassador.
The trio have designed a large number of furniture,
carpets and other products for Swedish manufacturers including Asplund,
David Design, Nola, Offecct, Skandiform and Swedese as well as products for
Italian companies including Boffi and Cappellini.
