Bernadotte thermo jug

By Georg Jensen

£160.00

  • Description

In 1938 he designed an elegant sterling silver milk jug in a unique design, which gave the inspiration to a new thermo jug. Even though the design for the thermo jug is 65 years old it is still a contemporary piece. Prince Sigvard Bernadotte was concerned with the same functionalism that plays a great part in modern design today, and this without, at any time, losing sight of the visual beauty. The large Bernadotte thermo jug was launched in 2002, and in the fall of 2011, a second smaller version is introduced. This second thermo jug is actually closer to the original design and holds 0.8 L.
