Arturo Alvarez is a Spanish decorative lighting design company based in Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. In the last ten years, Arturo Alvarez has been experimenting and researching in order to create new materials. This extensive endeavour has resulted in SIMETECH™, an innovative and highly malleable material, that was awarded the BEST OF THE YEAR award from Interior Design in 2014 as the best lighting solution. Creating materials to suit his particular needs, has allowed Arturo Alvarez more creative freedom in his very sculptural lighting pieces.
