Benjamin Hubert

Born in the UK in 1984, Benjamin Hubert studied Industrial Design and Technology at Loughborough University to graduate in 2006. After successful degree shows, Benjamin was awarded with the Corus Material Award for his 'Puff Out Lights' at New Designers 06, and received short listings in two other categories.

Benjamin Hubert Studio received 'the most promising designer award' at 100% futures 2008. In 2009, he launched 'a year in the making' winning the best new product award at 100% Design and Best British Design in the British Design Awards. This year he has won the Elle Decoration International Young Designer of the Year Award.

Benjamin Hubert Studio products are exhibited and retailed worldwide and have received several industry awards. The studio produces an array of furniture, lighting and products, each employing a materials and process focused design approach.

Through working with such companies as Ercol, De Vorm, De La Espada, &Tradition, Decode, Authentics and Viaduct, Benjamin Hubert has created some amazing pieces; from lighting made with cork, to beech coat stands.
