Dagmar Lodén

Dagmar Lodén (1904-1989) had a career spanning six decades, from the 1930s to the 1980s. She was both a painter and textile designer, and originally worked together with her husband, Karl Lodén, who she had met at the Academy of Art. After his death in 1944 she relocated from Stockhom to rural Dalecarlia where she contributed with textile designs to Jobs. She later became artistic director of Alice Lund's weaving studio in Borlänge and remained in this position for many years. Several of her large textile weaves decorate the churches of Dalecarlia, as well as elsewhere in Sweden.
