Born in 1919 in Anderstorp, Småland. Early in his career it was clear that Bolin not wanted to take over the family farm. Instead he decided to start his own aluminum foundry after a couple of years at different odd jobs. Thanks to his stubbornness Bolin managed to be successful within his domain.
