Rörstrand

This famous Swedish ceramics company was founded in Stockholm in 1726 and moved to Lidköping in the 1930s. Some of its most famous designers during the mid-20th century were Gunnar Nylund, Carl-Harry Stålhane, Marianne Westman and Hertha Bengtson. The Swedish Grace series by Louise Adelborg was first launched at the famous Stockholm Exhibition of 1930 and is still in production. The Rörstrand Museum holds a collection of 15,000 objects from Rörstrand's rich history.
