Tony Alfström

Tony Alfström (b. 1972) is a Finnish designer who has graduated from the Kuopio Design Academy, Department of Ceramics, and from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Department of Ceramics and Glass. In 1999, he founded the design company Tonfisk Design together with the Irish-born designer Brian Keaney.

For his work, Tony Alfström has received an Honorary Mention in the MINO 5th International Ceramics Competition, Japan and the Ornaris Design Award from Switzerland. One of Tony Alfström’s most successful products is Tonfisk Design’s WARM coffee and tea set, designed together with Brian Keaney, combining ceramics and wood. Another trendy product designed by Tony Alfström, together with Brian Keaney and Anu Wright, is Director’s Cut fruit dish.
