Broadchalke blanket

By Eleanor Pritchard

  • Description

Named for the village in the Wiltshire Chalke Valley this blanket has a strong graphic reversible design and a pleasing tactile surface.

The dimpled texture in our 'half and half' blankets is created through the interplay of the unique characteristics of the natural wool and linen yarns. Our linen is grown in Northern Europe and the yarn has an irregular quality that adds to the character of the fabric.

  • Technical Info

    50% wool, 50% linen

    'Raw' edge

    150 x 180 cm

  • Designer
    Eleanor Pritchard
Eleanor Pritchard has always loved playing with colour and pattern. Her work often has a mid-century quality and the designer feels a strong affinity for the aesthetics and design philosophy of this era. Alongside this runs a deep interest in vernacular British textiles and Eleanor sees much of her work as a re-interpretation of these traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.
