The Perch Stool by Nikari got its inspiration from a very round, solid wooden door knob in Helsinki.
The young designers participated in the Finnish Design Shop Design competition, FDS Awards, and won the first prize with their light stool.
The counter height Perch fits well to kitchen as well as waiting areas or bars.
Available version are oak, black stained oak and grey painted birch.

Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela are Aalto University design students, who won the first FDS Award in 2016 with their Perch bar stool. They share not only a similar taste in design but also an eventful path to the field.
