String® pocket is the little brother of the String® shelving system, suitable for CD's, DVD,s and pocketbooks.
Possibly the most stylish and versatile shelving system available. String was designed in 1949 by Swedish architect Nils Strinning and is now considered a design classic thanks to its versatility and understated aesthetic.
The structure is lightweight, yet stable, you can choose among a range of colours and materials. String Pocket can be combined in various ways, one packet you get three shelves, with two packets you can build up to three sections.
This functionality and the timeless design are the reasons why String® still attracts attention after 60 years.

Designed by Nisse Strinning
Nisse Strinning (1917-2006) is the father of the legendary String shelving and furniture system. Nisse Strinning was married to Kajsa Strinning, also a designer, who together with her husband developed the String system. The shelving was originally designed in 1949
