Collective Tools/Butter Knife

  • Description

New pieces and small changes to existing pieces make this great news for all design- conscious foodies and those who love entertaining at home. Citterio originally designed this collection in 2000, focusing on creating attractive, practical serving utensils.
Ever since, these incredibly ergonomic yet aesthetic utensils have garnered a major following. Unusually, Collective Tools is not an extension of a cutlery set, but rather a stand-alone collection designed with a clear typology and form, with each piece perfectly suiting its purpose. Collective Tools is designed in fact, to be a toolbox for the table.

Butter Knife – designed to be used on a cheese board in conjunction with the cheese slicer but would suit a butter dish very well too.

  • Technical Info

Most Iittala-kitchen accessories are made out of durable and easy to care for 18/10 steel, which consists of 18% chromium and 10 % nickel. Chromium protects the steel against corrosion. The addition of nickel to the alloy increases its corrosion resistance while adding a bright polished appearance, hardness, and exceptional resistance to all temperatures. All steel accessories are dishwasher safe.
