EJ 195 Insula

By Erik Jørgensen

  • Description

The Insula table series is now introduced as standing, dinner and conference tables. Standing and dinner tables consist of a foot that matches the form of the tabletop and are named Insula Base. The frame of the conference or large dinner table matches the frame of the coffee tables and is called Insula Forum.
Nature and organic forms are part of the inspiration of the table series Insula, designed by Anne-Mette Bartholin Jensen and Morten Ernst. The shape of the tables is dynamic and appealing – and matches numerous contexts. Put together with stringent designed furniture and surroundings Insula creates a fine contrast and suspense and softens up the space.

At the time they were still students of The Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture but since then they have worked together as a professional team, contributing with several designs for Erik Jørgensen.
