Bitz series is developed in close collaboration with Christian Bitz and offers robust stoneware in green, grey and black shades, wine and water glasses in environmentally crystal and a few other products for the food, the kitchen and your health.
Ceramics is a generic description of products in baked clay. The stoneware from Bitz is made of clay that is fired at 1,250 degrees, causing the ceramic crystals to fuse together - thereby achieves an incredibly strong and durable ceramic. Bitz 'stoneware bears a reactive glaze that partly makes ceramic frost-proof because no water gets into it, and also gives every cup, plate and bowl its own unique expression - no two plates or mugs are exactly alike! And then all the stoneware go straight in the oven and the food can be cooked directly in bowls and on plates (max temp is 250 degrees).
