Ed originally trained as sculptor at Kingston University before starting work as a designer. Following a successful two years of design projects including furniture and several interior design commissions, Ed went on to study at The Royal College of Art under the Professorship of Ron Arad.
After graduating from the RCA in 2001 Ed started working for furniture manufacturer and retailer SCP where he met Thorsten Van Elten with whom Ed went on to develop and produce the Pigeon Light.
Ed Currently works from his studio in East London on a wide range of design led projects individually and collaboratively with fellow designer André Klauser as one half of 'Klauser & Carpenter'.
Ed's clients include Established & Sons, Modus, Authentics, Promosedia and Elmar Floetotto.
