Miira Zukale (born 1978) graduated in textile design from the Helsinki School of Art and Design in 2007. Miira works as a freelance designer and is specialised in creating patterns and decorations. Miira was born in Helsinki and has lived in the capital all her life. She is particularly inspired by nature; in the artist own words, city nature is close to her heart. Subjects springing from city nature are strongly present in Miira´s artwork. She likes to use broken colours and she chooses colours by feelings, not by trends.
