It all started in 1891 when the first Morakniv factory was founded on the outskirts of Mora. This factory remains and is more active than ever. All knives are still produced by local workforce in Mora, Sweden. Our roots and heritage is an important part of our company values, and we take great pride in our all Swedish production and domestic choice of material. Our high quality knives are made for engaged users all over the world and the wide range features everything from craft and outdoor knives to models for the professional food industry. Now we have taken these centuries of knowledge and created a unique set of knives, adapted to meet the modern kitchen’s needs.
