Nemo’s path is strongly linked to the history of Italian design of the last 20 years. Nemo was founded in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassina, owner of Cassina SpA and Carlo Forcolini, who felt the need for a project based on innovation and rooted in the tradition that inspired the Italian design. Thanks to a series of products that have become icons of Italian design, Nemo immediately corners an important position in the international lighting industry.
NEMO collection includes projects of Foster + Partners Javier Mariscal, Jehs + Laub, Karim Rashid, Roberto Paoli and Arihiro Miyake. In the constant search for unique projects, Nemo has also gathered, through a unique selection in the lighting world, the Masters Collection, which includes products of the leading representatives of contemporary design: Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Vico Magistretti, Franco Albini and Kazuhide Takahama. Nemo is now present in over 40 countries. The headquarter is in Milan, with offices in Paris and New York.
