Nis Fischer Christensen is born in Copenhagen in 1975, was educated as cabinet maker in 2003 and educated as a product developer from Copenhagen Technical College in 2008. Today, Nis carries on the cabinet maker company Fischer & Co., where he designs and produces furniture and interior for large and small. Among other things, Nis has designed furniture for the clothing store Le Fix+ and for the restaurant business and now, Nis has additionally moved into the category of design for the kitchen. “The inspiration for my designs often emerges in the work with the craftmanship and the materials, but a blocked up boat and a bend in a graffiti roof can be inspiring too” says Nis Fischer Christensen.
