Description
Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1960, but only produced in very limited numbers until Carl Hansen & Son relaunched the chair in 1996 based on Wegner's original 1:1 drawings. CH445 immediately received both design awards and international acclaim.
An exceptionally comfortable chair that provides excellent support for the back, shoulders, neck and head. Its generous lines enable a variety of sitting positions.
Built upon a solid beech frame, just as Wegner specified, and upholstered in high-quality foam that provides just the right balance between firmness and softness.
CH445 works equally well in groups and on its own, and is best placed where its elegant design can be viewed from all sides.
