Danish designer Rasmussen studied fine arts before joining forces with his twin brother Ib. The pair explored the world of office chairs, and Jørgen is credited with inventing the double-wheel castor for the feet of office chairs. This castor allowed chairs to be highly manoeuverable, truly revolutionising the way an office is inhabited and used. Engelbrechts partnered with Rasmussen and other designers to produce a range of high-end furniture for the office and the home, always aiming to ensure that every detail would add to the pleasure of use.
The Kevi 2533 Office Chair with Leather Seat is part of the Kevi range of chairs, most with castors, but some without. The chair frame is made of aluminium, and the seat and back are of wood. The range of colours and finishes available ensures that this chair will be at home with the individual taste of almost any user. Various colours are on offer, or the seat and back can retain its wood look, with an oak or walnut veneer. The Kevi 2533 is 56cm wide, 56cm deep, and 51cm high. Assembly is required.

Designed by Jørgen Rasmussen
Jørgen Rasmussen was born in Odense, Denmark in April, 1931. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1955. In 1957, Jørgen and his twin brother, Ib, started their own studio with a focus on single-family houses.
