Description
While today most shell chairs are made of plastic, Design House Stockholm breaks with the standard and produces the Wick Chair from bent wood.
The chair does not just have natural charm, but also features unusual and individual design. The Swedish designers Karl Malmvall and Jesper Ståhl took their inspiration for designing this piece from classic craftsmanship.
The shell is reminiscent of a basket and recalls its woven structure, as reflected in the design of the backrest.
