Design Glazed Cones - Bright Red - 110mm (Outlet)
In addition to ceramics, craftsmen and ceramists also developed glazes in the old workshops of Kähler. At that time, they used cone-shaped ceramic figures called glazed cones, which were developed to test different types of glaze. This allowed them to get an impression of how the glaze would appear on a particular product.
The glazed cones were labeled with codes to refer to a specific color or type of glaze, and occasionally, when new glazes were developed, they would also be marked with the name of the artist or ceramist. Because the cones all had different surfaces and colors, they were highly unique and decorative.
