Will I have to pay VAT on my purchase/s?

If we are shipping outside of the European Union (EU) then you will not have to pay United Kingdom (UK) Value Added Tax (VAT). The VAT will be automatically deducted if the shipping address is out of the EU.
If we are shipping your goods to the EU you will have to pay UK VAT on your goods.
The prices will be reflected at the checkout.

Are there any extra costs (tax, duties, customs etc) in addition to the prices shown on your website?

Goods delivered overseas may be subject to import duties and taxes. Such taxes will be payable when the goods reach their destination. The liability for payment of such customs duties rests solely with the customer and Skandium has no control or liability for them.

What Forms of payment are accepted?

Skandium currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Diners, Discover, AliPay, iDeal and Sofort.

For AliPay you need to process the order in USD, for iDeal and Sofort you need to process the order in EUR. Please note that to be able to process an order with them, you must change the currency for your order (main navigation menu).

Please contact us if you would like to pay via Bank Transfer. Cheques are accepted through our stores only.

Colour Variations
We make every effort to ensure colours appear as realistic as possible. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colour depiction. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however slight variations may occur. Also, in some cases, we may have not received images from the manufacturers showing each specific product variation, although we still offer them to be ordered online.

For all items made from natural products, such as leather or wood, it is not possible to guarantee items will have the same colour, shade, pattern or finish as items viewed on our website, due to the inherent nature of such products. We also cannot guarantee to match goods exactly which have been ordered at different times.

Please contact us if you would like to request colour samples and we'll do our best to get them as soon as possible.


Does Skandium offer a Wedding List?

You can create a wedding/gift list with products you would like to receive as gifts. Your lists are available to your friends through our Gift/Wedding list.

Do you do contract sales?

Skandium offers a wide range of products for corporate use. We are able to supply everything from coffee cups and glasses to meeting tables, chairs and storage systems. Interior design advice is available for both small and large projects with professional installation service if needed. We can organise deliveries to any address in Britain or anywhere else in the world. Please see contract sales for further details.

I have a shop in the UK/Ireland. Can I buy in goods from you to sell?
