  • Description

    Usually, this wireless lamp is simply left on the charging dock, and then moved around freely when lighting is needed elsewhere. The design features non-contact charging functionality to power a matching spot or luminescent lamp. The directional lamp has a magnet that allows it to be placed at an angle, making it easy to adjust the direction of spot to be lighted. By placing these stunning lamps in your favorite spot and make sure to enjoy the pleasant look it they portray.

    Induction rechargeable lamp. Body/structure in solid ash with natural or black stain finish. Light fitting and diffuser in opalescent photo-etched injection-moulded polycarbonate. Push-button dimmer switch on the light fitting, with four levels of brightness. Autonomy at maximum brightness: 6 hours. Battery indicator light integrated into the dimmer switch. Induction charger integrated into the supporting base of the wooden lamp body/structure equipped with a corded power supply (with USB socket and interchangeable plugs). Usable power cord length: 140cm.

  • Designer

    Nendo was founded in 2002 as a design company, by Oki Sato (born in Canada in 1977, degree in architecture from Waseda University, Tokyo).
    With offices in Tokyo and Milan, the firm in active in various fields, from architecture to interior design, product design to graphics. It has won many honors, including a special mention in the Design Report of the Salone Satellite of Milan in 2003, a nomination for Best furnishing element in the I.D. Annual Design Review (USA), the Red Dot Award (Germany) and a Good Design Award (Japan). In 2006-07 Oki Sato was selected by Newsweek as one of the "top 100 Japanese people working overseas" and nendo was indictated as one of the "100 small businesses to watch on a global level".
    Thanks to the international acclaim obtained with the bloomroom, an installation for Milan Design Week in 2006, the firm has launched new products every year, with important companies like Cappellini, De Padova, Guzzini, Oluce and Council.
