In the same year the pot was awarded the silver medal at the Milan Triennale. Sarpaneva cast iron pot became in short time very popular and in Finland they even made a stamp representing it. The cast iron pot can be used both on the stove and in the oven. Inside it, food can be cooked uniformly at mild heat. The enamelled surface guarantees that no flavour sticks to the pot. Sarpaneva cast iron pot has also a detachable wooden handle, thanks to which it is possible to lift either the whole pot or only the lid without burning one's fingers. Sarpaneva pot is a joy for all friends of good food and will last for decades.
Technical Info
Material: Cast iron cookware coated with enamel.
Enamel protects the surface against rust and strengthens it. In enamelled products food can be prepared in the oven or on the stove with good results every time. Food cooks evenly and browns well. The enamelled surface prevents food flavors from sticking to the pot, so use can use the same pot for cooking fish as well as meat.
Use wooden or plastic kitchen utensils. Sharp objects and scouring agents and sponges can damage the enamel. Always wash enamelled cast iron products by hand, with our without washing liquid. Use regular dish washing detergent and a soft dish washing brush. Rinse well and leave to dry or dry with a soft cloth. Occasionally, it is recommended to treat the enamelled surface with cooking oil.
Suitable for Gas hob, Cast iron hob, Ceramic hob, Induction hob.
