The Björk rug features a wool weft with leather details, inspired by the birch tree's bark. Designer Lena Bergström draws inspiration from Sweden's birch forests, creating a textile surface as natural as stone or wood, describing it as "like poetry, a quiet whisper in the room.

The marbled effect comes from intertwining wool yarns of different colors, while wool’s natural oils offer softness and resistance to dirt. Handwoven craftsmanship makes each rug unique, with variations in wool whiteness based on the season of shearing.
