Designer Constantin Wortmann set out to make a traditional candleholder for today. It is reminiscent of an antique candlestick in its substantial weight and height but is nothing like its forebears. It has voluptuous, gravity-defying curves rendered in mirror polished stainless steel.

Like the mystical snake that inspired them, the Cobra candlesticks are mesmerising, particularly when arranged in pairs or threes, as they fit so perfectly together.
