Poul Henningsen invented the three shade system in 1926. The reflective three shade system is based on the logarithmic spiral to make optimum use of the light source. PH determined the form of the shades by the way they were required to shape and reflect the light. The result is a beautiful, comfortable and glare-free light making both homes and people more beautiful.
