Drawing on his extensive knowledge about wood, Hugo Passos has designed a series of minimalist and very slender coffee tables called Piloti. Coming in different sizes and heights, the table can be used as a single piece or to create a tableau of tables at different levels.
With the makings of a classic design, at first glance, the Piloti tables are extremely simple - a thin line in space supported by four legs. Close up, the details which create this delicate look can be seen and felt; the subtle profiling of the table surface adds finesse and gives a sleek integrated transition to the round legs.
Piloti consists of four variants in two heights. It is a flexible table, which can easily be moved around to serve different functions. The four sizes open up for a range of different uses – as side tables, sofa tables or bedside tables at home, or in public waiting areas and hotel lobbies.

For Hugo Passos, design is all about solving an existing problem and finding out exactly what a home needs for it to function optimally. The designer takes a direct and very industrial approach to designing and the manufacture of his designs. He has therefore designed Piloti with legs which can be unscrewed, which also makes the table easier to transport.
The tables come in four different size variations and in the following finishes: oak soap, oak oil, oak white oil, oak lacquered, smoked oak oil.
