    In the 1960s, Warren Platner transformed steel wire into a sculptural furniture collection, creating an everlasting design icon of the modern era.

    Ideal for any office lounge or residence. Available as dining table, side table and coffee table.

    Dimensions: Ø 135 x H:70cm

    Frame: Vertical steel wire rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods. The frame is available in two finish options: bright nickel finish with clear lacquer protection and painted bronze metallic.

    Base: Clear plastic extrusion ring for smooth bottom surface.

    Top: Bevel edged plate glass.

  • Designer
    Warren Platner

    Warren Platner (1919- 2006) studied architecture at Cornell University. Following his work with legendary designers Raymond Loewy, Eero Saarinen and Ieoh Ming Pei, he immersed himself in the creation of steel wire furniture, devising the method and tooling to produce the lounge chair in the line as well. Notable among his residential and commercial projects are the George Jensen Design Center from 1968 and the Windows on the World restaurant in the World Trade Center, both in New York City.
