The Barcelona daybed is part of the Knoll Barcelona family designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the King and Queen of Spain. The Knoll Barcelona Day Bed is hand made from the buffing of the framework to the cutting and sewing together of the 72 individual leather panels taken from one cowhide that make up the surface and bolster. Each Knoll Studio Barcelona daybed has the Knoll Studio logo and signature of Mies van der Rohe stamped into the left hand rear leg.

    The Barcelona couch features an African Kamin hardwood frame with protective, clear lacquer finish. Legs are constructed of tubular steel with polished stainless steel finish. Individual leather panels are cut, hand-welted and hand-tufted, and panels and buttons are crafted from a single hide.

    The KnollStudio logo and signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped into each piece

    Upholstery can be specified in a wide range of Spinneybeck® leathers.
