Christine Schwarzer, born in Copenhagen in 1970, is educated as a furniture and industrial designer at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen and University of Art & Design (TaiK) in Helsinki. After graduating in 1999 she has been designing furniture and products from her studio in Copenhagen - except for a year spent designing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.



She is also designing props and furniture for kids together with her partner Anne Birgitte Balle for their company RoomMate. Schwarzer has participated in several exhibitions in Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. RoomMate achieved the Design Plus Award 2007.
