Lars Vejen has a degree as an architect from Aarhus School of Architecture (1996) with focus on furniture and space design. In 2014 he founded Design Studio Lars Vejen with offices in Denmark and Japan. Taijiro Ishiko did his internship at Design Studio Lars Vejen (2016-2017). He finished his master program of design at the Kyoto institute of technology (2018). In 2018, he founded Taijiro Ishiko Design.
