Visually light and elegant Muuto sofa series with deep seating for high comfort. The Outline Sofa family is an architectural, refined set of sofas that comes in two and three-seater versions.
Available in textile or in silk leather, the Outline Sofa is a study of combining Scandinavian design and craftsmanship with superior comfort. Adding to the family is a Studio series, taking the original Outline design and translating it into a slimmed-down design to accommodate the compact dimensions of contemporary, modern homes.
Anderssen & Voll on the design, “With Outline, we aimed to create a visually light and elegant sofa with lots of comfort. We wanted to translate some of the elemental and poetic qualities we find inspiring in modernist architecture.
The way some elements juxtapose in the sofa’s design are borrowed from the way houses are structured. The different planes overlap and give lightness to the sofa’s expression.
This is why Muuto Outline has a certain calm serenity - it offers great comfort in a generous seat, but has a slender appearance, and a strong architectural presence.”
