**KNUT BENDIK HUMLEVIK**
Born in 1984 in Bergen, Norway, Knut Bendik Humlevik graduated from Copenhagen’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. Knut emphasizes simplicity, stripping away unnecessary details to reveal pure form, inspired by traditional Scandinavian design and material integrity. Known for his attention to functionality and comfort, Knut’s designs blend international influences with Scandinavian roots. In 2007, he co-founded KR with Rune Krøjgaard, creating designs that balance functionality, simplicity, and aesthetics, displayed widely in Nordic and international exhibitions.
**RUNE KRØJGAARD**
Born in 1980 in Herning, Denmark, Rune Krøjgaard studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His work reflects a deep understanding of materials, combining clean lines with structural inspirations from heavy industry. Rune’s minimalist approach builds relationships between space, form, and function, drawing from Scandinavian furniture traditions and his travels in Southeast Asia. In 2007, Rune and Knut launched KR, collaborating on designs for Norr11. Together, they create functional, stylish products for everyday use, showcased in exhibitions across Copenhagen, London, Tokyo, and Riga.
