Jurgen Laub was born in Ulm in 1964, Markus Jehs in Stuttgart in 1965. Both of them hold diplomas of industrial design, awarded by the FHfG Schwabisch Gmund in 1992. Two years later they set up their jehs+laub studio. They are noted for their projects in the ambit of lamps, furniture and seating. They designed certain upholstered items for Cassina, presented in 2002.
