Description

Skandium are privileged to be the first company who have been granted the rights to use Swedish artist, Stig Lindberg's iconic artwork for a product it was not originally intended for.

For a series of tea towels, trays and mugs we have chosen Lindberg's intricate illustration from the children's book Daniel Doppsko (Daniel Tip Your Toe). In the story the lead character discovers a world under water, intriguing and full of surprises. We have given the black and white illustrations a dash of colour and placed them on a specially designed products which compliments the illustrations perfectly.

Stig Lindberg was one of Sweden's most versatile and charismatic artists. There was a Stig Lindberg item in every household through many decades during his long time of productivity. Lindberg's goods are now in high demand on the collectors market and loved worldwide.
