The VLA26 Vega Chair, originally created for the historic concert halls of the Vega music venue in Copenhagen, is now being produced by Carl Hansen & Søn in collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.

First designed in the 1950s, this reissued chair is a modernist gem, reflecting Vilhelm Lauritzen’s distinctive aesthetic. Its functionalist design exudes effortless simplicity while possessing unique character. Carefully proportioned for comfort, the curved back gently supports the sitter. Expertly crafted from wood and steel, the chair is available with optional seat and back upholstery for added comfort, and its wooden feet bring a handcrafted touch to the stackable design.
