With the Can sofa for HAY, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec seek to go beyond the creation of a practical, elegant and comfortable design.

The intention is to reinvigorate the whole idea of the sofa, from something inherently complicated to something simple, relaxed and accessible.

The sofa comes flat-packed and can be easily assembled at home from three basic elements – frame, cover and cushions.

  • Measurements: W: 172 x D: 89 x H: 82 x SH: 40 cm

    Materials:
    Frame: Powder coated or chromed steel.
    Mattress & cushions: Foam and recycled polyester fiber duvet. Mattress with integrated anti-slip fleece on the back side. Non-reversible mattress. Piping is the same material as the selected fabric or leather.
    Outer canvas: Black or natural canvas.
