The tabletop is circular and designed to facilitate communication between people as the round shape and added legroom highlights social interaction. Contrasted by the lightness of the frame, the wooden tabletop seems to float on the stable frame and will merge seamlessly with the Embrace Chair and Embrace Armchair. Established in Vienna in 1995, this Austrian design collaborative study historical roots in a contemporary context using a unique process called Poetical Analysis to create works. Their method focuses on myths, rituals and intuitive expressions, to create connections that extend beyond initial perceptions. Consisting of Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann, and Harald Gründl, EOOS has worked with well-known brands such as Carl Hansen and have won over 130 international awards.
