3D Bar Stool
The GUBI Bar Stool by Komplot Design is the first furniture design to be based on the innovative technique of moulding three-dimensional veneer. The 3D design gives the stool a comfortable seat and a sense of lightness as all the edges point away from its user.
The stunning design encourages for personalisation with numerous base and seat options. The Center Base version has regular black or chrome metal legs, while the Sledge Base has the metal bent to shape so that it is on the floor. The Wood Base has a more classic look and comes in 3 different wood finishes.
The furniture design has been awarded in several prestigious design awards and is included in the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
