The beautiful Swan™ chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the lobby and lounge areas of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The design contains no straight lines, making it look organic and soft despite its simplicity and strong architectural appeal.

The Fritz Hansen Choice 2024 presents a special edition of the Swan™ chair in a voluminous new woollen textile from Kvadrat. Adorning the Swan’s elegant curves, the combination is an expressive statement at the leading edge of contemporary style.

The new textile from Kvadrat combines colours in a mathematic weave that subtly shifts appearance in changing light. Elegant chestnut piping in Grace leather adds a finishing touch that accentuates the chair’s signature curves.

    Materials:
    Shell: Molded CombiPUR (RigiPur/hard PUR and FlexiPUR soft PUR), and back is covered with tricot wadding 100g, before the chair is upholstered.
    Base: Satin chromed steel tube connected to a base in satin polished aluminium. The leg ferrules are made in black polyamide.
