Description

During the 1960s, Finn Juhl designed a series of rug patterns for the Danish carpet manufacturer Vittrup, none of which were ever produced.

Onecollection has the ambition to offer a complete range of Finn Juhl designs. It was therefore a natural step to re-launch his rugs with their characteristic circular pattern guiding the mind towards the Swinging Sixties, which were later encapsulated by designers such as Verner Panton.

Designed by Finn Juhl

Finn Juhl (1912-1989) was the first Danish furniture designer to be recognized internationally. He studied architecture at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen with Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, but as a furniture designer he was self-taught, a fact he always emphasized.
