Description
The Elephant Chair is designed as a modern lounge chair and draws inspiration from the upholstered chairs of the 1950s. The chair offers high comfort with the thick upholstery on the back and the seat while preserving simple Scandinavian lines. Drawing characteristics from our Mammoth Chair the Elephant is like a little brother to the Mammoth Chair making it suitable for smaller spaces.
The seat and back are made from the highest quality compression moulded oak veneer shells. The two shells are pressed in the same press mould, and surround the body in a light soft curve. The legs are designed as one single profile without any visible joints, which enriches the experience of the material strength and the exchange between the light and heavy dimensions.
