It's perhaps the best-known creation of designer Yngve Ekstrom for Swedese, and over the years has won prizes for its clarity and simplicity of form. Created in 1956, Lamino is still manufactured by skilful craftsmen in Vaggeryd in southern Sweden.
The maker only uses high-quality materials - veneer that is laminated, pressed into its beautiful shape and covered with fabric, leather or sheepskin. Just as meticulously as in Yngve Ekström’s time.
The Lamino is famous for being one of the most comfortable easy chairs ever. It offers a large seating space without taking up too much unnecessary space. Perfect to rest the neck, the high back extends the relaxing experience.
